EGU Leonardo HYPER Droughts
This edition of the Leonardo conference had a special focus on droughts. Several members of the DrIVER project attended this conference, which resulted in a good introduction of the project to the drought community and some fruitful discussions.

Mark Svoboda, Jamie Hannaford and Kerstin Stahl all gave presentations that touched upon several of the core aspects of the DriVER project.
Sophie Bachmair gave a presentation about linking drought indicators and impacts. With a focus on Germany and the UK, this talk presented some of the first results about comparing these variables (link) .
Furthermore, a poster was presented showing a comparison between drought characteristics on the different continents the DrIVER project focuses on (link).
