The Alpine Drought Observatory (ADO) project is part of the EU Interreg Programme. ADO aims to create an online drought monitoring platform and develop policy implementation guidelines for proactive drought management in the Alpine Space region, to improve the understanding of drought impacts in the Alps, the current drought monitoring and forecasting capabilities, and the current drought management practices and drought preparedness. Therefore, project ADO consists of several project partners from adverse backgrounds and different Alpine countries. Thus, the consortium combines cross-sectoral expertise that enables a comprehensive and multifaceted approach.

This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Interreg Alpine Space programme.
